“Buckethead” would be a gentle word to call this guy.

A bird-brained thief in Louisiana was caught on video running around with a bucket over his head after he went to rob a seafood restaurant he once worked at and brought everything he needed, except a mask.

The forgetful robber, identified by police as 23-year-old Richard Boudreaux, settled for the next best thing and threw a large bucket over his head and went ahead with holding up the joint anyway.

Surveillance video captured him stumbling around Kenney’s Seafood in Slidell, La., about 30 miles north of New Orleans, in camouflage and gloves with a bucket over his head, barely able to see.

Despite wearing a bucket on his head, Boudreaux still made off with $350.Boudreaux, a former employee of Kenney’s, is seen lifting up the bucket every so often to get a look of his surroundings. He ended up getting away with $350, according to ABC News. Boudreaux also attempted to rob a nearby pawn shop, police said, before scurrying away.

But security cameras at Kenney’s captured glimpses of his face during the ordeal and cops were able to identify him.

He was arrested at his own home a short time after the incident and charged with one count of burglary one count of attempted burglary.

Boudreaux, who faces up to 12 years in prison for those charges, was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The buckethead later told police he had “bad blood” with the owner of Kenney’s and said he wanted to break into the pawn shop to steal a gun because he would not be able to get a firearm if and when future gun-control laws were passed, according to authorities.
